However we went to the Royal Acadamy of Arts to view the exhibition 'No new thing under the sun' i didnt really understand how it realted to out projects apart from one piece which included some typography, but noneltheless is was all nice to see.
later on we went to this tiny little market, just off Picadilly road and it has some lovely little antique jewellery stands, with some really unique pieces, some were really expensive for what they were though! nice to look at for a while though. I also found this product called 'E-soil' which is really reaalllly strange!
It is a substitue for soil for indoor plants and it looks fantastic. they are tiny 'beads' which you put in a litre of water for 6 hours and they absorb all the water and become light and fantastic to touch! almost like frogspawn, but much nicer! i went ahead and bought 2 bags of clear and green tranlucent ones, i hope to use them in a piece of art work but i had to get some as theyre so strange!
if your interested you can check it out on ebay, just type in'e-soil' and it should come up!
When i returned home, i was in a creative mood and decided to make some more brooches and another little book, i really like them!
these badges are also on my folksy shop!
